Sunday CONNECT

The first step in the discipleship process at Lakeview is CONNECT. Our worship services are a great way to connect with the Body of Christ and to begin your journey as a follower of Jesus. Our services are welcoming and engaging - featuring powerful praise and worship music, vibrant media and drama presentations, and a clear message of the Gospel. There is no dress code, and we want you to be comfortable to worship as you feel inspired by God. Bring the whole family as we have a wonderful nursery staff to care for your little ones, and a magnificent children's ministry called "Kingdom Kids" for kiddos in Pre-K through 5th grade. If you have any further questions you can call our church office at 940.592.2776. See you soon!

Church Membership

For those looking to get more connected to the Body of Christ at Lakeview, we offer our membership classed entitled, "Catch the Vision". It connects you deeper to Lakeview by explaining our purpose, values, and history, as well as our vision for the future. You will learn more about our leadership and how we operate. You will also explore new opportunities to get involved in ministry and be challenged to go deeper in your personal relationship with God. Our goal is that, through your participation in Catch the Vision, you will experience a greater commitment to the vision for our church as you deepen your walk with Christ and actively serve in an area of ministry that is consistent with your God-given design.

Catch the Vision, and see where God can take you.

Water Baptism

Romans 6:3-6
(King James Version)
“Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.”

At Lakeview Church of God, we believe water baptism is a celebration of your decision to follow Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. It is an important first step to being connected to God and the Body of Christ. Just as the symbols of the wedding and wedding ring are a declaration of a marriage covenant, water baptism is the outward declaration of the covenant you’ve made with God. As your church, we would like to stand with you as you publicly declare you have made the decision to surrender your life to the Lord.
